Dr. Harris and his colleagues at the Laboratory of Cell Biology in the National Cancer Institute are conducting research on the processing, transport, and metabolism of proteins and small molecules related to malignant transformation and multi-drug resistance in cancer.
Important research like this is being conducted throughout the numerous labratories in the twenty-seven Institutes and Centers that make up the NIH not to mention the research that is supported by NIH funds.
