There are many advantages to joining NIH as a student. Our students can work in the area that they are studying or learn something completely different. They can work year-round or just during seasonal breaks. Some work as students prior to graduation and then join NIH permanently. After one year, students may be eligible for health and other benefits. And the NIH environment is a great place to work, live, and learn.
