Support for these supplements will come from funds provided to NIH through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) of 2009, Public Law Not all NCRR awardees are eligible to apply for Recovery Act-supported administrative supplements. Recovery Act administrative supplements from awards with the following activity codes will not be considered: C06, G20, all K awards, R13, R21, S10 and all T awards. The NCRR administrative supplement application due date is May 18, 2009. Additional receipt dates will be at the discretion of NCRR. NCRR's highest priorities for Administrative Supplement Applications are listed under the pie chart below. Grantees in their final year of current funding, or with no-cost extensions, should contact their designated program officer before applying. Background
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 provides NIH with up to $10.4 billion to be obligated over two years for a variety of biomedical research and research support activities. Funding opportunities for administrative supplements and competitive revisions (formerly called competitive supplements) are part of the overall NIH Recovery Act investment strategy, as described at www.nih.gov/recovery.
