P.L. 108-75 - Mosquito Abatement for Safety and Health Act

On August 15, 2003, the President signed into law S. 1015, the Mosquito Abatement for Safety and Health Act, as P.L. 108-75. This legislation authorizes grants through the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention for mosquito control programs to prevent mosquito-borne diseases. In addition, it requires NIEHS to conduct or support research into methods to control the population of insects and vermin that transmit dangerous diseases to humans.
