P.L. 108-4 - Continuing Resolution (CR) for FY 2003

On January 31, 2003, the President signed into law H.J. Res. 13, as P.L. 108-4, the seventh continuing resolution (CR) for FY 2003. This legislation provides funding through February 7 to keep Federal programs, including NIH, operating in FY 2003. This legislation was sponsored by Representative Bill Young (R-FL), Chairman, House Committee on Appropriations, and passed the House on January 28, 2003, by a voice vote and by the Senate on January 29 by unanimous consent.
