  • NINDS Challenge Grants
    The new program will support 2-year grants that can both stimulate the economy and advance neuroscience research in support of the NINDS mission of reducing the burden of neurological disease.

  • NINDS Grand Opportunities (GO) Grants
    The purpose of the "GO" grant program is to support high impact ideas that lend themselves to short-term, non-renewable funding and may lay the foundation for new fields of investigation.
    Letter of Intent Receipt Date: April 27, 2009
    Application Due Date: May 27, 2009

  • NINDS Supplement Program
    NINDS will utilize some of the funds made available under the ARRA to supplement existing NINDS grants during FY2009 and FY2010. Three types of supplements have been made available:
    1. Administrative Supplements for research that falls within the scope of an NINDS-funded project
    2. Administrative Supplements to Foster Summer Research Experience
    3. Competitive Revisions (also called Competitive Supplements)

  • Supporting New Faculty Recruitment
    The purpose of this announcement is to provide resources that will facilitate the hiring of new faculty into secure, tenure-track or equivalent positions.
