Postdoctoral Fellowship in Translational Clinical Immunology and Ocular Inflammatory Diseases

A postdoctoral position is available in the Clinical Immunology Section, Laboratory of Immunology at NEI/NIH to study translational clinical immunology and ocular inflammatory disease. The laboratory is currently using a variety of the state-of-the-art technologies, e.g. gene targeting, proteomics, microarray analysis, and animal models, to investigate molecular mechanisms and clinical therapeutic approaches on autoimmune ocular inflammatory diseases. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of laboratory research projects of translational clinical immunology and ocular inflammatory disease with emphasis on epigenetics and signal transduction. There will also be opportunities to gain insight into mechanisms of translational medicine. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with experience preferably in Immunology, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology, and have no more than five years of relevant postdoctoral experience. Salary is commensurate to experience and previous training.
