Students will learn about:
  • Drawing in Illustrator
  • Importing image data
  • Drawing, aligning, and arranging images
  • Combining and subtracting basic shapes to form complex objects
  • (if CS3 or above is available): using the live trace and live paint features
  • Coloring objects, 3d-objects, text effects
  • Importing data from Excel and other programs
  • On-line resources for scientific Illustration
  • PDF Basics
Who should attend:
NIH staff with an interest in the subject.
