Disaster Recovery Centers Closed for Labor Day 

And Saturday Hours Change This Weekend

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The three Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in the New Orleans area will be closed on Monday, September 4 for the Labor Day Holiday. In addition, DRCs have cut back Saturday hours. Beginning this weekend, all three DRCs will close at 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Representatives of state, federal and voluntary agencies, as well as customer service representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration are on hand at DRCs to answer questions and provide recovery information. Written materials about various state and federal programs are also available for individuals and business owners.

New hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Closed Labor Day.
