Print and bring your workbook to class.
Beginning May 1, 2009 a new workbook policy will be implemented. Due to the continuing rise in printing and shipping costs, the National Training Center and Clearinhouse (NTCC) will NO longer provide workbooks for class participants.It will be the responsibility of each registered class participant to produce and bring the various workbooks to the classes for which he/she is registered.
Classes held at the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, MD are not included in this new policy.
Participants may download and print out the workbooks from the NIH website.
The PubMed® and NLM Gateway/ClinicalTrials.gov workbooks are available in two formats: Microsoft Word and PDF (Adobe Acrobat).
The TOXNET® and Beyond workbook is available in one format: PDF (Adobe Acrobat).
The Adobe Acrobat reader is freely available for download from Adobe's website.
- You will receive official notice by e-mail that you have been registered for the class requested or for any second choices indicated. If you have not been notified within two weeks after submitting the registration form, contact the National Training Center and Clearinghouse at: (800) 338-7657, press two.
- Every attempt will be made to place applicants in the class requested. If a class is filled, applicants will be registered for their second choice. Approximately three to four weeks prior to the class, registrants will receive information by e-mail regarding hotels, site arrangement and local area information.
- Classes will be cancelled if minimum registration is not met six weeks prior to the class dates. Minimum registration is 12-15 confirmed registrants.
