Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Immunology-Cytokine Signaling Mechanisms

A Research Fellow (FTE) or Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately in the Molecular Immunology Section, Laboratory of Immunology, NEI, to study cytokine-signaling pathways in inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the CNS (neuroretina). Particular emphasis is on the roles played by JAK/STAT and SOCS-regulated pathways in lymphocyte effector functions and cell-fate decisions. The successful candidate should be a highly motivated and creative Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. scientist with a reasonable publication record. Appointment as a Research Fellow (FTE) or conventional IRTA Fellow will depend on experience of the candidate. A strong background in basic immunology, molecular biology and experience in animal models of human diseases is preferred. Research interest of the lab can be gleaned from the section website, http://www.nei.nih.gov/intramural/mol_imm/immunology.asp.

Please send a curriculum vitae (CV) including a bibliography of publications and three reference letters to:
