#734Intermediate QVR - Understanding and Using the Standard Reports
 
Description:
This new class will focus on the 47 Standard Reports that are available in the QVR System. There are a variety of Standard Reports. Some of them are in MS Word format but most of them are in Excel format. Many of the Excel Standard Reports are in PivotTable format. There are also sets of Standard Reports that are specifically designed for staff in various business areas - Budget, Grants Management, Scientific Programs, Scientific Review, Roadmap and Training.

This class will be presented in two parts:
  • The first part of the class will be a presentation that will focus on the purpose of the various standard reports and how to generate them. Information will also be presented on how to archive and retrieve archives of the Standard Reports that have this feature.
  • The second part of the class will be a hands-on-session during which participants will be given a series of exercises to practice retrieving the Standard Reports and using the Archive/Retrieve Archive feature.
Class participants are encouraged to logon to the QVR System at the URL below and explore the QVR Homepage which contains useful information about the system.
 
Objectives:
To familiarize the new user with the Standard Reports features of the QVR System
Who should attend:
This class is the second in a series of classes on the QVR System. There will be minimal review of the material covered in the Introduction to QVR class. Therefore, users must either have taken course the Introduction to QVR class or have used the system extensively and be thoroughly knowledgeable of the features of the system.

To access the QVR System users must have IMPAC 2 privileges. If you do not have access to IMPAC 2 please contact your IMPAC 2 Coordinator. Class participants are encouraged to logon to the QVR System at the URL below and explore the QVR Homepage which contains useful information about the system.

PLEASE remember to bring your IMPAC user name and password to the class for the hands-on session.
