Other Programs

• Student Temporary Experience Program (STEP)
  • Most commonly used for Summer employment, the STEP allows students to work year-round while they are in school in part-time or full-time positions. The most common STEP jobs are clerical or assistant work. The STEP allows students to gain valuable work experience while finishing their education.
• Student Career Experience Program (SCEP)
  • Students who are enrolled in a degree-seeking accredited program (either high school, undergraduate, or graduate program) are eligible for SCEP positions. The SCEP allows students to work full-time or part-time while they finish their degree and, after graduation, participants who meet all the requirements of the program may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent position.
