Welcome to www.recovery.ri.gov, the official website for Rhode Island’s Office of Economic Recovery and Reinvestment. We encourage you to visit this site often, as it will be updated frequently.

On February 17, 2009, President Barack Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 which is designed to jumpstart the economy, create and protect jobs, and invest in key priorities.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act presents enormous opportunities for Rhode Island to move forward. As Governor, I want to take full advantage of the opportunities while being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars. I am working closely with the General Assembly, our Congressional delegation, and our cities and towns to maximize the federal stimulus dollars available to Rhode Island, and to get our economy moving again.
