Flow of Funds: |
The U.S. Department of Education grants this formula funding to states with a required 10 percent state match. Some states choose not to match the entire amount or otherwise turn back some or all of the funds. Any funds turned back by states are distributed to other states based on an application process.

September 30, 2011

Reporting Requirments: |
The guidelines for reporting have not yet been released. The U.S. Department of Education has informed states that reporting will be based on the calendar quarter and each state has 10 days after each calendar quarter to report. The first quarterly report is due no later than July 10, 2009.
