Program Description:

Program Description: Employment Service Grant / Reemployment Services:

Employment Services funding is to assist persons in One–Stop Career Centers to secure employment and workforce information by providing a variety of services, including job search assistance, skills assessment, and labor market information to job seekers and to employers seeking qualified individuals to fill job openings.

Reemployment Services funding will supplement existing reemployment services to UI claimants and to support integrating Employment Service and UI information technology to identify and serve the needs of the claimants.

$22,855,217 ($8,570,706 Employment Services and $14,284,511 Reemployment Services)

Entities Eligible to Apply:

Limited to State Agency administration to expand upon services available to jobseekers and employers. 

Flow of Funds:

Funds will be used to support state agency administration to support expanded services.

Obligation Deadline:

September 30, 2010  

Reporting Requirments:

Performance and reporting requirements are yet to be released.
