Accountability and Transparency

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act requires that the public be informed of how their money is used for economic recovery.  The law ensures accountability and transparency through a number of reporting requirements.  Under the guidelines in the law, the state will:

  • Report on the use of recovery funds in Wisconsin for every program and project;
  • Ensure the funds are used appropriately as defined by the law;
  • Provide the number of jobs that were created or saved by the funds.

Through this page, the Wisconsin Office of Recovery and Reinvestment will connect the public with the most up-to-date reporting information to ensure that state residents know how funds are used and that those funds are used appropriately.  Please check here regularly to see the latest updates.
