Montana Reinvestment Project worksheet was a preliminary list of potential Montana projects compiled and submitted at the request of the National Governor’s Association (NGA) and Western Governor’s Association (WGA). The non-prioritized project list was developed well before the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was enacted.
The Governor has now submitted the Montana Reinvestment Act to the Montana State Legislature. HB 645 is designed to meet all the requirements and timelines of the ARRA. Governor Schweitzer is committed to all the accountability and transparency standards set by the ARRA and to getting Montanans back to work as soon as possible.
