Reform Education and Training for the 21st Century will help put Montanans to work earning a better wage. Governor Schweitzer proposes the following: a total $51 million increase for higher education of which $42 million is ARRA monies for a tuition freeze at the Montana University System and Community Colleges and energy efficient buildings at MUS, $43 million for K-12 school infrastructure, $12.6 million for job training and workforce development, $5 million for broadband to connect rural areas, and $43 million to stabilize teacher retirement.
