Governor Perdue's First Certifications of ARRA Stimulus Funds for GDOT Roadway Projects
Governor Perdue has certified the first round of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds for GDOT’s roadway projects totaling $207 million for transportation improvements throughout the state.

The Recovery Act signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009 includes measures to modernize the nation's infrastructure, enhance energy independence, expand educational opportunities, preserve and improve affordable health care, provide tax relief and protect those in greatest need.
