This site is designed to provide information regarding the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), also known as the federal stimulus bill. The recovery act was created to aid our nation in weathering this current storm of economic hardship. In his message on February 26, 2009, for the United States Office of Management and Budget, President Barack Obama stated the following:

“This moment is one of great paradox and promise: while there are millions of Americans trying to find work, there is also so much work to be done. That’s why the Recovery Act and our Budget will make long overdue investments in priorities – like clean energy, education, health care, and a new infrastructure – that are necessary to keep us strong and competitive in the 21st Century.”

This administration is committed to aggressively pursuing and securing the funds available to the people of Guam through the programs of the federal stimulus bill. I encourage you to use this site to learn more about ARRA and Guam’s efforts to put the resources it provides to the best possible use.
