Program Office: National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR)
CFDA Number: 84.133P
Program Type: Discretionary/Competitive Grants
Also Known As: Research Training Grants, RTG, formerly known as Research Training and Career Development
This program supports grants to provide advanced research and experience to individuals with doctoral or similar advanced degrees who have clinical or other relevant experience.
Grants are awarded to institutions of higher learning to enhance the capacity for research on rehabilitation and disability issues.
Note: This is one of several NIDRR grant programs. Congress provides an appropriation for NIDRR as a whole; see the main entry for NIDRR, CFDA # 84.133. The amounts listed here are a portion of the NIDRR appropriation. Funding fluctuations from FY 2001 to FY 2003 are due to timing of grant awards.
