FY 2009 Request for Designation as an Eligible Institution for Title III and Title V Programs; and Request for a Waiver of the Non-Federal Cost Share Requirement

Timeline

Current Competition: FY 2009.
Deadline for eligibility designation of institutions applying for Title III Part A or Title V grants: February 20, 2009
Deadline for institutions filing a waiver of cost sharing for Title IV and Title VI: April 6, 2009

Applicants deemed eligible for the cost share waiver in FYs 2007 and 2008 should only apply for eligibility if they plan to apply for funding this fiscal year under these programs:

Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP)
American Indian Tribally Controlled College and Universities (TCCU) Program
Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions (ANNH) Program
Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program
Promoting Postbaccalaureate Opportunities for Hispanic Americans (PPOHA) Program
Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) Program
Native American-Serving Nontribal Institutions (NASNTI)Program
Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) Program
