Proposed Information Collection Requests for Combined Application for 
the OERI Visiting Scholars Fellowship Program

AGENCY: Department of Education.

ACTION: Correction notice.

SUMMARY: On December 4, 1996, a notice of proposed information 
collection for the Combined Application

for the OERI Visiting Scholars Fellowship Program was published in the 
Federal Register at 61 FR 64343 which solicited public comments for a 
60 day period through February 3, 1997. Policymakers and librarians 
were not included in the abstract for this program. The abstract is 
corrected as the following: ``The OERI Visiting Scholars Fellowship 
provides support to senior scholars, researchers, policymakers, 
education practitioners, librarians, and statisticians to engage in the 
use, collection, and dissemination of information about education and 
education research to work at OERI in Washington, DC. The information 
collected in the application will be used to determine who is selected 
for these fellowships.''
