- When we look at individual products, we can argue that we have outgrown our capacity.
- We are dependent on gasoline imports.
- During the summer months, when gasoline demand is highest, our refineries run at their maximum capability and we must import to meet demand.
- The East Coast is the main region using those imports. In 2000, gasoline imports supplied about 18% of East Coast demand on average.
