Certifications by Governor Gregoire

Two types of certifications are required for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act:

  1. The request and use of funds to create jobs and promote economic growth (also called 1607 certifications); and

  2. Confirmation that specific construction projects ― roads, water systems and others ― have received the review required by law and represent an appropriate investment of taxpayer dollars (also called 1511 certifications).
