Thank you for your interest in developing a media project/interview that involves the participation of the Smithsonian's Museum Conservation Institute.
MCI is a unit of the Smithsonian Institution, located in Suitland, Maryland,, established to increase and disseminate scientific and conservation knowledge critical for conserving museum collections and enhancing their historical and cultural interpretations. MCI staff formulates and conducts research and provides technical information, advice and assistance primarily to the Smithsonian but also to other institutions on matters pertaining to its areas of expertise.
