The Biggest Generation
A program focusing on the youth obesity epidemic

Active kidThe percentage of children who are obese1 has more than doubled, and among adolescents the rates have more than tripled since 1980. Obesity is a risk factor for health conditions such as diabetes and is associated with problems such as poor self-esteem.

Connect with Kids!

Connect with Kids,* in partnership with CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health, CDC's Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity, and Florida’s Department of Health has developed a 30-minute DVD focusing on the obesity epidemic among youth.
