Each year, the WateReuse Foundation presents the Annual Water Reuse & Desalination Research Conference to showcase leading-edge water reuse and desalination research issues of the day including research sponsored by the Foundation and its research partners. A "Call for Abstracts" is issued to solicit interest from researchers who want a forum to present their research efforts
The Foundation also periodically convenes specialty workshops to assess research needs, gather data, and report on research results. In addition, presentations on water reuse and desalination research are often a part of WateReuse Association conferences and events, including the Annual WateReuse Symposium and various specialty conferences.
