Mission Statement

Anishnaabeg Child and Family Services of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan is the primary agent delegated by and through the Tribal Children’s Code, Title II, to provide social services including protective services to tribal children. 

With well-being and safety as its first concern, the Department’s Mission is:

“Promote the safety and well-being of tribal children, youth, elders and vulnerable adults and their families, with services that are competent, embracing the highest of ethical principles and, that strengthens and support families;  Services guided by the Tribal community’s values of;
