Description: Provides comprehensive coverage of the web. Using "tabs" on the top of the search box on the Google home page allows users to narrow searches to locate images, discussion newsgroups, specific topics, or news information. Search results also include cached links that let you see expired pages or older versions of recently changed ones. Google indexes PDF files, Microsoft Office files, and other types of specialized files, and its Google Uncle Sam is useful in locating government sites. Add the tilde sign (~) to the front of your search term for retrieving synonyms. See Google's help page, Cheat Sheet, and Guide for explanations on using their engine.
