Watershed ManagementFarmers transport pigs to market on the Mekong River in Vietnam

Watershed management requires that we take into account the upstream effects on downstream water quality. To manage resources on a watershed scale over the long term requires the participation of communities and their citizens. The WRC educates and involves community members in projects that integrate economics with agricultural, social, and environmental sciences to reduce the risk of pollution and to encourage the progress of restoration.
