ASU has developed the ALPHA Student Teacher Scholarship Incentive Program, whereby if a student teacher selects one of our ALPHA Schools they receive$1,000 cash scholarship. Many districts are also adding a $1,000 to $1,500 to this amount plus the AmeriCorps Service Scholarship. Program funding comes from private sponsorship, office budget and grants.
Over the last three years we have placed over 350 student teachers at a cost of $350,000.
