The Graduate school is providing greater access to federal employees and military personnel who must meet acquisition certification training requirements. The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) has granted equivalency for Introduction to Government Contracting, one of the School’s popular courses, with CON100, Shaping Smart Business Arrangements. Now students can begin their certification training at the Graduate School giving them greater flexibility and convenience.
“Federal employees and military personnel now have more options, and the School is proud to be a leader in providing more opportunities for these professionals,” said Dr. Jerry Ice, CEO and President at the Graduate School. “If our facilities are closer to their workplace or home, these students may now opt to take the course here.”
The Graduate School has highly experienced instructors in the federal acquisition arena. In addition, students may see cost savings by attending class closer to home or on a schedule that better suits their needs. This course is the first step in a student’s journey to becoming a certified contracting officer.
“We’re constantly trying to provide more solutions to more people through our expanded course offerings,” Dr. Ice said. “It’s all a part of our emphasis on creating a premier learning community and partnering with others to provide the best educational setting for our growing student population.”
