DOI Watch Office
Introduction
The Watch Office, which operates around the clock, provides timely reporting on critical information and serious incidents that impact the Department’s responsibilities across the United States.
It effectively coordinates with the law enforcement, emergency management and security demands placed on the Department as a result of additional homeland security responsibilities and serves as a resource to all bureaus and offices, as well as other cooperating agencies.
The Watch Office produces and distributes various alerts, bulletins, advisories and coordinates the immediate exchange of nationwide law enforcement or emergency management information developed by the bureaus.
The Watch Office is customer-driven and provides critical services to Department and bureau leadership, law enforcement, security managers and emergency management.
