Regatta Bay is located in the City of Destin, on the north side of U.S. Highway 98, east of County Road 293, in Destin, Okaloosa County, Florida.

The project is a residential and golf course development encompassing 470 acres of previously undeveloped land. The project is located on Choctawhatchee Bay, with access to the Gulf of Mexico. ESI provided environmental services for the project, including wetland jurisdictional delineation, endangered and threatened species surveys, natural resource assessments, wetland permitting, seawall permitting and a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. As a result of careful design, a total of 114 acres of wetlands were preserved and 2 acres were created on the Regatta Bay project. An actively eroding shoreline was stabilized with construction of a seawall and installation of riprap. Continuing environmental services on the site include minor permit modifications, compliance inspections, and general consulting services.
