This project is located on Florida's West Coast in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida.

The project comprises over 50 acres of land permitted for the excavation and collection of borrow materials. ESI was contracted to work with the client, Southwest Florida Water Management District and Hillsborough County Environmental Protection Commission to resolve outstanding issues relating to the wetland mitigation. ESI successfully resolved the issues, designing an acceptable mitigation and monitoring program.

Specifically, ESI services have included mitigation construction management; plant procurement and installation in mitigation areas; on-going maintenance of nuisance/exotic species; and wetland mitigation monitoring. This project is expected to be completed by August 2004.
