WHAT YOU CAN DO, WHAT YOU CAN USE

Keep on Recycling - Save energy, conserve natural resources, and help reduce climate change every time you reduce, reuse, or recycle. By recycling 85 billion tons of municipal solid waste in 2007, Americans saved the energy equivalent of more than 10.7 billion gallons of gasoline. America Recycles Day is every November 15th!

Celebrate the Environment: Remember Mother Earth this Holiday Season - recycle leftover wrapping paper, give energy-efficient gadgets, and find a better way to grandmother’s house.

Buying a new home? If you want to "go blue," check out the nation's first WaterSense-labeled home. The home uses 20 percent less water than a conventional home.

Join the Greenversation - Each week we ask you a question related to the environment and invite you to share your thoughts. The latest question:
How did you minimize environmental impacts while making holiday travel plans?
Questions from the previous month:
How are you going green for the holidays?
What do you do to reduce or avoid “overpackaging” in products you buy?
If you could ask the public one question about the environment, what would it be?
