The Foundation's Subscribers represent water and wastewater utilities, consulting firms, consultants, and other organizations interested in supporting a cooperative program to meet the research needs of the water reuse and desalination community. Subscriber fees are an integral component of the Foundation's funding base and are used to fund research projects and other research activities of the Foundation. One of the primary goals of the Foundation is for its Subscribers to be able to directly apply the findings of the Foundation's research on treatment, distribution, monitoring, resources, management, and other areas associated with water reuse and desalination.

Water Utility/Agency
Subscriber Fees: $1,200–$50,000
Water utility/agency Subscriber fees are calculated based on the amount of water that you produce, sell, treat, or manage. Water includes raw water, drinking water, recycled/reclaimed water, and/or wastewater.

Consulting Firm and Equipment Manufacturer
Subscriber Fees: $320–$14,000
Consulting firm/equipment manufacturer Subscriber fees based on the number of employees in your firm or company. Employees are determined company-wide irrespective of office location. The base rate is $300 plus $20 for each employee up to a maximum of $14,000.

Institutions
Subscriber Fees: $300–$50,000
Institutional Subscriber fees based are based on your annual budget. Institutional subscriptions are available to academic institutions, regulatory agencies, and other organizations that have an interest in supporting water reuse and desalination research, but are not covered under any other category.
