Mills College, a premiere woman’s college, places special value on social responsibility and public service. As part of its commitment to honor and reward those who have made a contribution to national and community service through participation in AmeriCorps, Mills College offers an AmeriCorps Matching Grant to qualified AmeriCorps students. This award matches, on a semester basis, AmeriCorps funds the student requests for undergraduate educational costs through their AmeriCorps voucher, on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $4,725. Students must be admitted to Mills, attending on a full-time basis, and submit a copy of their voucher prior to being awarded financial aid by Mills College.
