U.S. Marketing Year Average Price of Cotton Down
for 2004


  Released October 12, 2005, by the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), Agricultural Statistics Board, U.S. Department of Agriculture. For information call Greg Thessen at (202) 720-2127.

The U.S. Marketing Year Average Price for 2004 upland cotton is 41.6 cents per pound, down 20.2 cents from last year. All U.S. and State cotton and cottonseed price information will be published in the October Agricultural Prices, to be released October 31, 2005.
