Our seed garlic is grown in the Okanogan Highlands of WA State, just north of the small
town of Chesaw. For over 25 years only organic techniques and TLC have been employed in
every stage of the growing process. All of our garlic is firm, with many layers of
protective skin. Natures Wisdom garlic is a pleasure to eat and a joy to grow. Both hard
neck and softneck varieties are grown here. We currently have 6 varieties available for
shipping: Spanish Roja (hard-neck, large cloves, easy peeling, great tasting, cooks love
it); Zemo (hard-neck, ideally only 4 large cloves, pungent flavor, huge plant); Inchelium
Red (Soft neck, good storage, good for braiding, nice to cook with); Persian Star (Purple
stripe, elegant, bold clove color, with a wonderful mild spicy zing); Romanian Red (Superb
porcelain hardneck variety. Cloves are fat, round, and colorful, encasing a hot pungent
garlic); Asian Tempest (Artichoke variety from the Asiatic sub-variety. A treat for the
lover of truly hot flavorful garlic.
