Soil Quality Team
The mission of the Soil Quality Team is to develop, accelerate and transfer
soil quality technology. The team coordinates the NRCS training course, “Soil
Quality Assessment and Applications for Field Staff.” Technology development
efforts include projects on new assessment tools for soil quality indicators and
management practices that build soils. The team's work supporting current
conservation programs and future national emphasis areas includes support of the
Conservation Security Program (CSP) and Conservation Effects Assessment Project
(CEAP).
