AmeriCorps State Instructions for 2007 Awards Processing

In the past week and over the next few weeks, your AmeriCorps*State Program Officer will be sending applications needing either budgetary or programmatic adjustments directly back to the grantees for rework. Unfortunately we are experiencing a glitch when the grantees resubmit their applications: they are not returning to the correct status of "Awaiting PO Certification".

In order to address this quickly, the eGrants Help Desk staff will be completing the transaction for each of your grantees. To do this efficiently, we ask that you do the following:

  • Wait until all your grantees have addressed their budgetary or programmatic issues;

  • Ask each of your grantees to complete the usual step of returning a grant in eGrants; then

  • Let your program officer know by email the program names and application ID numbers;

  • Your PO will then send this email to the eGrants Help Desk for you and will complete the resubmit process for you.

Thank you for assisting us in working together to move the award process forward. Let your program officer know if you have any questions.
