Hello. My name is Armand Tate (sp) - I'm a freshman marketing major from Dallas, TX. I attend Howard University and I came to volunteer with 100 other males from Howard University, over with Dr. Lee, and we're helping with the Martin Luther King presentation today and I feel that it was important... just having a memorial to Martin Luther King because of all he's done, not just for the African American community but for America itself.
Hello. My name is Jessica Goode (sp) - I work for City Year, which is part of the AmeriCorps program. I help on the DECYDE team, which is the Dramatic Empowerment City Year Drug Education team and today is very special for me - I'm from Atlanta, GA and to be here in DC and witness the groundbreaking for the MLK memorial is very special. I'm so glad that I'm taking part in it and I wish that anybody else could have this experience as well.
