This program works with state commissions, nonprofits, and faith-based groups, schools, and other civic organizations to provide opportunities for Americans of all ages to serve their communities.

AmeriCorps participants serve in local and national organizations, the Volunteers in Service to America, and the National Civilian Community Corps.

Senior Corp participants age fifty-five and older help to solve local problems through service.

Learn and Serve America engages students from kindergarten through college in projects that link education and service.
