College of Eastern Utah is a two-year state community college located in the city of Price, two hours south of Salt Lake City. Eastern Utah is offering an AmeriCorps Recognition Resident Tuition Waiver Scholarship to qualified AmeriCorps students in recognition of academic potential, involvement in community activities, service and leadership. This award will be in the amount resident tuition for the year the student attends and utilizes their AmeriCorps funds at Eastern Utah. College of Eastern Utah is an open admissions institution. Students must be admitted, pay the admission fee, and submit a regular scholarship application in order to be awarded. To maintain the tuition waiver, students must attempt and complete 15 credit hours per semester and maintain a 2.500 semester GPA. Tuition waivers can only be used during fall and spring semesters.
