Call for Papers & Presentations The following events provide an opportunity for working engineers to share ASNE is joining with the Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps in sponsoring a Naval Logistics Symposium that will be held in Crystal City, VA in July 2009. The symposium Chair, Pat Tamburrino, Assistant Deputy CNO for Fleet Readiness & Logistics (N4B), has lined up strong government representation on the planning committee but is seeking industry and academia support as well. The Call for Papers abstracts will be extended until 15 January 2009. You can read the Call for Papers by clicking on the link or download the flyer by clicking here. Delaware Valley is planning Intelligent Ships Symposium VIII and are looking for papers to be presented at the event scheduled for 20-21 May 2009 to be held at Drexel University. Please respond and submit your abstract by 9 January 2009 as the attached Call for Papers requests. Call for Papers Southern Indiana is planning a Global Deterrence and Defense Symposium 2009 with the theme of "National Security: Achieving Global Deterrence and Defense" that will be held 15-16 September 2009 in Bloomington, IN. A Call for Papers has been issued with abstracts due by 27 March 2009. See the flyer for the type of topics interested.
