IMPACT PLUS
IMPACT PLUS, a service-learning program sponsored by the YMCA, is a training session designed to get teenagers to look at issues affecting their communities, investigate the resources their community has for addressing the issues, and work with community partners on responding to the needs.

Mississippi YES!
About two dozen high school students from across the Magnolia State are selected each year to participate in Mississippi YES!, which stands for Youth Engaged in Service, a service-learning program sponsored by the Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service.

The "Paw Shop" Learn and Serve Program
A senior seminar at Mercer School in Mercer, Wis., this past year focused on ways that the 15 students in the class of 2005 could give back to their community. The class decided to open a resale shop - filling the void in a community where the next closest resale shop is a 25-mile drive.
