Dear Colleagues:

As the new administration begins here in Washington, the Corporation is undergoing many changes. Nicky Goren, the Acting CEO, has asked me to continue as the Chief of Program Operations. In this role, I have made the following assignments to ensure a smooth transition.

• Lois Nembhard as Acting Director of AmeriCorps State & National;
• Mikel Herrington as Acting Director of AmeriCorps NCCC;
• Elson Nash as Acting Director of Learn and Serve America;
• Paul Davis as Acting Director of AmeriCorps VISTA; and
• Angela Roberts as Acting Director of Senior Corps.

Obviously, the changes which will impact you the most are those in AmeriCorps State and National. I am confident that Lois Nembhard who has served in AmeriCorps for the past eight years, four as Deputy Director of National, will ensure that business is managed effectively and efficiently during this transition.
